What is pelvic floor PT?

Th pelvic floor is made up of a group of muscles that sit on the bottom of your pelvis. These muscles make up the bottom portion of your core. Pelvic Floor PT can help you strengthen, relax, or learn how to coordinate your pelvic floor muscles.

What conditions can pelvic floor PT help with?

As a pelvic floor therapist, I can help you with the following conditions

  • pain with sex

  • recovery from labor and delivery

  • return to exercise and return to running in the postpartum period

  • Yes. I am trained and certified to do internal vaginal exams. Not every patient will need an internal vaginal exam. However, if it is indicated, we can do interval vaginal work to assess the pelvic and/or in treatment.
