My mission is to help runners and triathletes learn more about their bodies so they can stay injury-free.

Who am I?

Abby Daunis, PT, DPT, SFMA 1, USATF 1

I’m Abby. I’m a busy mom and a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics.  I earned my doctorate from Texas Woman's University, School of Physical Therapy in 2013.  I have worked as an outpatient physical therapist since that time.  I am certified in dry needling, Kinesiotaping, SFMA level 1, and USATF level 1.

I love endurance sports! I am a runner and triathlete.  I have completed three marathons and multiple half-marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks.  I compete in triathlons ranging from sprint distance to Half Iron Man distance. I am an active member of BEAT (Brentwood Endurance Athletic Team). I thoroughly enjoy treating endurance athletes and helping people return to sport and recreation.

When I’m not working, you will find me training, crafting, spending time outdoors with friends and family, or walking in the park with my husband and our two little boys. My vision is to expand the sport of triathlon to a greater audience, and to make the sport more accessible to people in my community.
